PALCO MARKETING ART DIRECTION & CREATIVE LEADERSHIP
Project Insight
A marketing firm is only as strong as the creative team behind it. At Palco Marketing, a manufacturer of Airsoft and Paintball guns, the work demanded range, from big-picture campaign thinking to production-ready precision on packaging and manuals, all moving simultaneously across multiple client accounts and tight deadlines.
Opportunity
Palco needed a creative leader who could manage the full arc of a project, from initial concept through final delivery, while keeping a small team aligned, motivated, and producing at a high level. As the workload grew in scope and complexity, the role called for someone who could think strategically, execute precisely, and mentor the designers coming up behind them.
Approach
Promoted to Art Director after demonstrating an ability to lead projects beyond the scope of a standard design role, I took ownership of creative direction across campaigns, trade shows, and product launches. I managed a team of a graphic designer, web designer, and marketing assistant — coordinating across sales, marketing, and production to keep projects moving and standards high. Annual catalogs, packaging systems, and marketing materials were developed with a focus on production-ready precision. I mentored junior designers, established consistent creative standards across all deliverables, and made sure the work we put out reflected the quality our clients expected.

A beautiful, New Look
Every client had a different voice, a different audience, and a different definition of success. The job of art direction was to find the visual language that made each brand's story land — and then build a system around it that a team could execute consistently. From trade show booths to catalog covers to product packaging, the work was always in service of a bigger brand idea.
